AP Silage Cutters

Silage Cutters of AP are inextricably linked to the product silage cutter. This proven concept has been built by us since several decades in various versions for a wide range of applications.

AP silage cutters consist of 42 models, capacities from 0,64 m³ to 4,3 m³, for every farmer’s needs there is a proper silage cutter.

Silage Cutters in Use

Silage cutters are crucial agricultural machines used for efficiently handling and distributing silage. This feed, usually consisting of ensiled grass or other green fodder, plays an essential role in livestock nutrition, especially in the winter months. Silage cutters assist in quickly and hygienically transferring silage from the silo to the feeding troughs.

Operating Principle

The operation of a silage cutter is relatively simple yet extremely effective. The machine is equipped with a strong, metal container with cutting blades. These blades cut the silage when the container is pressed into the silo. The cut feed is then collected in the container and can be easily transported to the desired location.

Diverse Models and Sizes

There are various models and sizes of silage cutters available, ranging from compact versions for smaller farms to large, industrial models for large-scale agricultural operations.

FL series
12 models, among other things suitable for (mini) wheel loader and tractor with front loader. Maximum width of 240 cm, maximum capacity of 1,09 m³.

NP series 
10 models, among other things suitable for tractor with front loader, telescopic handler and wheel loader. Maximum width of 240 cm, maximum capacity of 1,8 m³.

NT series
10 models, among other things suitable for heavy telescopic handler and wheel loader. Maximum width of 260 cm, maximum capacity of 2,8 m³.

NR series
10 models, among other things suitable for heavy large wheel loader. Maximum width of 280 cm, maximum capacity of 4,3 m³.
